Jewellery and metalworks
Copper, iron, silver, and gold
Since the 1950s, Lazzarini experiments the use of metals in many ways. The great series of copper repoussages (Shakespeare, the Greek tragedies, Christ and Crucifixion) are paralleled by statues in wrought-iron; at the same time, Lazzarini excels in goldsmithing and jewellery-making. In the following decades, his goldsmithing explores the lost-waxing technique in doing elaborate unique pieces of jewellery.
