Paintings

Painting for Lazzarini is first and foremost oil painting, both on board and canvas. He re-interpreters Renaissance and Flemish techniques by bending them to portray a very personal vision of spaces, times, and bodies (Mantova, the classics, the sacred). At the same time, he experimented since the 1950s the use of mixed techniques and materials in big and small paintings of great originality and impact.
